I'll try my best to keep this post short. XD
I've uploaded various pictures once again in my Multiply. I'll soon say goodbye to Hyukta.net Gallery as I'll be deleting that after uploading 2-3 more sets of pictures in my Multiply and making a backup of its mySQL database.
#1 -- Makati CBD and Commercial Center
My brother took pictures of Glorietta, Greenbelt, and some of Makati's CBD. It's for his group report. He returned the digicam without deleting those pictures, so I uploaded them. There's no limit in Multiply anyways. *lol*
I made a small game of having people guess the establishments in the pictures or where those are exactly taken, but only one participated. ^_^;;;
If you work in or frequent Makati, you would be able to identify the places in the pictures above. ^_^
#2 -- Papa's Birthday [2007-1026]
Fun time with the family! :D My Dad turned n last October 26. :3 Not disclosing his age, but here's a hint... He's the same age as JOHNNY DEPP. *ROFL*
We had dinner at Texas Roadhouse Grill being that it was the only restaurant with few tables left. Maru and I camwhored. The serving was large enough for a single person. I didn't forget to order Cerveza Negra. :9
#3 -- Michigan Renaissance Festival
Ah, yes, the unforgettable renaissance festival. My Mom and I went to Tito Emar's place just right on the festival's schedule. Hahaha~
The joust event was funny. They even made a play for it. ^_^
Oh gawd, I remember this guy who sat in front of me. His pants were loose that it went slightly below his hips. When he sat down, I saw his butt-crack. His butt's very hairy. XP Gross...
I wish there's a way to link Multiply albums by the date of upload. XP It would make my plugging a hell lot easy. Well, before I end this post, here are two guitars we used to own. We bought them from Guitar Center being that their guitars are a lot cheaper than those sold in the music stores here. Even more so if they're on sale. @_@
of attention with it during our gigs. ^^;;; I guess they don't see often a
not-so-talented guitarist playing on productions with an Epiphone.
Heck, it's not really that of a unique guitar, but I like its sound.
I'm missing this guitar. I have a lot of good and few bad memories with it. ^_^
Wow, it took me ages to get this video up. @_@ This is the second video I took from last year's Christmas celebration. Jeremy was so cute wearing that Santa suit. Really. XD; In this video, he kept tugging the camera strap as if it was a reign. Haha~
One of my Titas (Aunts), was murdered. She was missing for 3 days then her body was found in a hotel. There's also mysterious phone number found. I don't know if her family tried calling it. I hope we'll find out more news on this. I asked Tita Pricilla if she knows what hotel, but she doesn't. She said that it could have been a 4-5 star hotel.
*sighs* I was supposed to sleep, but now I can't. This really shocked me. I haven't seen her in a long time then I hear this. :(
(Cross-posted in Here is No Why and Here
Even...)
We went to Tuguegarao 2 years ago when my grandfather died. The first time I went there was when I was really young and my brother's probably 5 or 6 years old then. There wasn't much to do in the province aside from farming, harvesting, or raising farm animals. Since we don't live there and we don't do any of those I mentioned, it was super boring. We only stayed inside because my mom doesn't like us to talk or play with other kids there. My mom would have been fine with it if the kids or most of the people there knew hygiene. ^^;
Anyway, we visited again after so many years for my grandfather's wake and burial. We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. We traveled by car because we couldn't afford plane tickets much and traveling by bus is scary. Traveling by plane would be faster, but the amount isn't worth it when travel time would take about 2 hours only. I think. O_o Then traveling by bus would mean praying for your dear life because the bus has to go up a mountain and go down again... It's scary.
Our car's AC got broken when we got to Tuguegarao. At least we were already there, but the heat there is too much compared to here in Makati/Manila.
My grandfather used to be a teacher. He contributed a lot to his school it seems. There were so many students and teachers who went to his wake. We also stayed in the school's gym til 3AM. They were giving away balut. Haha~ There were a lot of insects even. But no cockroaches, so it's good. ^^; I hate those. Instead of just staying there in the gym the whole time, we looked around the areas. There hasn't been much change in that province. Most shops close as early as 6PM. We also got a taste of their pancit specialty. Ang sarap!!! :D The serving was big and only for a small price. Hehe~
My other relatives went there too. They rented a van. I don't remember whoever got there first. I just remember being so tired when we got there. I also got bruises on my knees because I rested them on the driver's seat's backrest.
Wow, I'm so late in posting these pictures! XD; The following are pictures from New Year's Eve Celebration of 2006. These are mostly fireworks until I finally find the other pictures of the said celebration. ^^ I was trying out the night mode of the digicam. I didn't have a tripod and I had no idea that the pictures would turn out blurry if I shake even the slightest bit. X_X
The ff. are pictures from New Year's Eve Celebration 2007 with some of my relatives. ^^ That was also Jeremy's first time celebrating New Year's Eve.
My face looks kind of smooth here. Haha~ XD Look at sleepy Jeremy.
Jeremy a future drummer XD
-_- Yours truly isn't getting any better at editing photos with Photoshop. I can only go as far as editing manga, manhwa, or doujinshi and making layouts with it. *sighs* But I'm a bit satisfied with the outcome of these pics most especially the Fuch family picture. ^^ The crappiest one among the 3 is the one of me and Jeremy. Jeremy's so adorable in it with his Santa costume, so I guess my attempt at editing the pic could be forgiven. XD
I thought my troubles that day would end there. I had to continuously fix the position of this heavy monitor as well as check the reformatting-then-installation-of-WindowsXP in Tito Ralf's laptop. I got to start fixing myself by 4PM when we were supposed to leave by 4:30PM. My dad got mad because we got stuck in traffic here in our barangay due to the fiesta. They blocked the streets because of the events. Whatever they were. I only watched one or two events before and that was way, way years ago. We got to the church 30 minutes late. At first, we went to the wrong church. It was actually a chapel. There was a funeral even. My brother and I were like, "What the-" We went back to the car. We told our parents that we were in the wrong place. ~_~
They already started when we got there. I didn't get to take videos using Tita Christine's videocam, but with my digicam. I got some good vids like when the water was placed on Jeremy's forehead. He didn't even cry. ^_^ Having been to other baptisms (of infants) before, Jeremy is the most behaved of them all. He only cries when you let him lie down or sit. He likes to be carried. But, damn, he's heavy. He's a BIG baby. ^^;;;
This would have been a really nice picture if it weren't for Tita Christine looking bored. ^^;;; Haha~ Jeremy's so cute.
He probably knew I was going to take his picture. ^_^
In the third picture, there's this woman in between Lola and Tita Christine (third one from the left) who we don't know. I'm guessing this is the reason why Tita Christine doesn't look too happy in this picture. ^^;;; Lola invited her. That woman then brought someone along. Tito Christine and Tito Ralf weren't pleased with that. Lola also requested Tita Christine if she could make her guest/s to be godmother/s of Jeremy. If she did then they will bring gifts -- I don't know if this true though. This is what I heard. Selfish, don't you think? I look uber fat in the last two pics above. XD; If I didn't pose that way and if I didn't block out my boobies, I would have looked better. Somehow. Haha~ XD
We then headed to Red, an expensive restaurant in Shangri-La Hotel, Makati. That's where they held the reception. It's rather expensive for just a baptism, but I heard it's because when Tita Christine couldn't get her church wedding to push through and this where the wedding reception is supposed to be held, they decided to have the baptismal reception here.
Maru and I sat with Tita Sandra and her bestfriend, Eileen/Tita Eileen, while our 'rents are with Tito Tomo and Gregory.
I was surprised when they served Evian water. I imagined how much a bottle would cost. -_- I barely drank a bit of it because I had 2 iced teas and a glass of wine. The iced teas were already too much to make me full.
My mom and dad with Jeremy (the first two with Gregory too) ^_^ The shots are blurry because they seem to have set the digicam to macro. XP
I'm supposed to post a lot of pictures with Jeremy in it. The digicam with my memory card is nowhere in my room. So I have to ask my mom where she put the digicam _again_, so I can have them up. Hopefully tonight. But I might end up working on a Powerpoint presentation for proposal defense. XP
