Last week, I got my umobile sim. I was a bit excited because of its somewhat cheap rates and features like the mobile internet. Their price is, I think, lower than my primary provider that is Globe. The sim's free, so no harm in trying it out.

I only tried the mobile internet and downloads feature. Browsing with it is effin' slow. Picky on the sites even. I can't log in my Plurk account. I dunno if it's Plurk or umobile itself. ~_~ I tried to download a game via the cellphone, but I got an error message. I also received error voice messages whenever I try to check my prepaid balance. Seems like a useless sim. I have yet to try texting and calling. I hope there are no lags and the calls aren't choppy.

So much for being excited. *lol* They should start their other promised offers to attract more people to use their sim. I have a feeling though that since umobile is by invite only, we're beta-testers. XP

Last week, my boyfriend and I were on a hunt for a cheap flash for a Holga 135BC. ^_^ I was told to check this Pentax shop in SM North which is actually a mall really far from my place. D: We were unlucky as we didn't find a cheap flash there. Most of what they have are PhP1000+ ($20+) worth. Tired and pissed, I told my boyfriend that we should just go home. We went to the other side of the mall and I saw a camera store. I checked their films. My boyfriend was browsing around. Then he saw this:

Got it for less than $10! :DDD Sweet! I was told it's a cold shoe flash. Dunno what that means. Plus, it also has a sync cord. More sweetness. *rofl* I was going to buy another one, but that's the last stock they have. This flash is for my friend, but I'm having second thoughts. I'll probably just get another one for her and keep this. XD
