It's been a long while since I posted here. ^_^V Managing a lot of blogs has become a hassle, so I had to kind of sacrifice my VOX. Other reasons I haven't been updating this is because of Plurk, uploading photos has become tedious (I could use Photobucket or Imageshack anyway), and most of my online friends aren't here. ^^;;; It feels like I'm in a ghost town, if you know what I mean. Should VOX have an export feature, my posts will still be here. I also want to keep my account here just in case VOX gets uber amazing features that will drag people here. *lol*
The only VOX contact I'm following now is patapete. His posts are always interesting. ^_^ If you wanna know how things are going on my end, you can catch me on the ff. sites:

Let's hope this isn't my last post here. ^_^V *waves*
I couldn't decide what to post here, so I thought I'd start it with pictures of really, really, really, really random things. XD I know I have been doing that before, but this is different. The picture above will surely already give you an idea of what I mean.
From left to right: Banana Peel is one cheap "flip flops" being sold here in the Philippines. I think it's being sold in one state in the US. Not sure about that. Just read it in their tag. That slipper was given by my ♥. :DDD We took hours in finding the slipper that would fit me because most of them were too small. The only slippers that would fit me are those for men. D: The middle picture is a Bruce Lee shirt of my brother's. We were about to sell it in our garage sale last year. When my brother saw it in the pile of shirts, he took it back. *lol* The red bag is a really old bag. My Dad used it during his study days in Holland, I think. That was in the 80's.
You should see this video I got through email. Very cool!
This is cute. ^_^
Let's make this blog less depressing. ^_^V What I've been posting lately doesn't suit my layout. *lol*

I
should really try to control my temper. I also feel I haven't said
anything nice about other people recently. ~_~ I sometimes can't help
it when those people unknowinglypush my temper. GRR~
I'm being nice to them. I know that because I let things go their way.
I even have to make little sacrifices. Then it comes to the point
they're abusing my kindness and my generosity. When I talk to them
about it, they're either ignorant or selfish about it which makes me
feel stupid in the end. Also, there are 2 people who I've been trying
to make a good relationship with because we're in "one group." We make
and have plans together. If we act like strangers then there will
always be tension among us. I am trying to make things work, but these
people just won't cooperate. They're like being distant. They probably
think they're too cool to become friends. We're not a group joined
together by AUDITIONS dammit. We're not doing "this" for the music
industry. Get that through your head! XP
Oh gawd, I said I'd make this blog less depressing and I still went on with the drama/rant. I really hope things get better and happier. This BS research is the root of all sadness, depression, stress, and anger I am feeling right now.

For once I am thankful that I have this research. Why? I might have been at Glorietta. I could have been a victim. -_- If you aren't aware of what happened because you never bother to watch/read the news, then here's what happeend -- Glorietta 2's destroyed due to a bomb. 9 People were killed and more than 100 were injured. It happened on a Friday. It's the last day of the week and there would be more people there than on a usual weekday.
Here are online news you might want to read:

Bloggers have posted their experience and shared their stories. Quezon.ph posted the some blog links with information regarding the tragedy as well.
I'm glad I had to stay home and do our research. I asked Mac to come over, be my moral support, and help me get the maps I have to include in the paper. Thank goodness really. Mac and I frequently hang out in Glorietta. Although not in Glorietta 2, we always pass there if we have to go the terminal or to the CD-R King branch that's just steps away from the Glorietta 2 entrance. I also remember that we were supposedly to have a gig in the new bar there (Rock Candy?). We were supposed to rush practice and stuff, but it's hard to organize the members who weren't replying (they could have been lazy or just didn't want to bother, but... Maawa naman sila sa nagtyatyaga. PUTIK NA YAN. Ahem, anyway, that's a different topic.).
Thanks, btw, to my Dad and Tita Sandra who checked on me and my brother after the incident.

I saw a video on GMANews.tv's site. A man was still inside Glorietta. He rushed to Glorietta 2. You could see the white smoke coming from there.

One of my Titas (Aunts), was murdered. She was missing for 3 days then her body was found in a hotel. There's also mysterious phone number found. I don't know if her family tried calling it. I hope we'll find out more news on this. I asked Tita Pricilla if she knows what hotel, but she doesn't. She said that it could have been a 4-5 star hotel.
*sighs* I was supposed to sleep, but now I can't. This really shocked me. I haven't seen her in a long time then I hear this. :(

Maybe I should say early mornings. ^^; Around 3-4AM I get hungry. Why am I still awake around that time? Well, that's when I watch anime or read manga. Late nights are also the best time for me to study or do any serious work. I can concentrate without all the unnecessary noise. ^_^ Anyway, that isn't the point of this post. It's about snacks! Haha~
Two nights ago, I had 2 Green Tea Mini Crispies. Tita Anne bought them in HK. Of course, she didn't give only two, but one plastic full of it. I only took one, but my Mom said to get one more because it's too light, hence, it doesn't seem filling. ^^;
By 2:30AM, I prepared a cup of (Stassen) peppermint tea (their chamomile tea tastes better) and waited til I could sip a bit before taking a bite of this kind of sweet-looking snack.
I was disappointed. XP It didn't make go, "OMG, I WANT MORE!" It was okay and doesn't taste like green tea. It tastes like polvoron. I guess the yellow with caramel-like syrup on top was there to make it taste different than a polvoron, but it didn't help. It was bland. Haha~
In the end, I only enjoyed the tea. ^_^; Oh, if you read the article on chamomile tea, I think peppermint tea (or any kind of tea) is good to drink when you have menstrual cramps. It was my first day, so the pain was awful... Drinking the tea made the pain go away. ^_^
Some recent pics of me:
o_o It's almost 5:30AM now. I still am not sleepy. Haha~ This is probably because I haven't gone out these past 2 days. ^^; Yesterday, I spent the whole afternoon until 1:30AM editing and sorting my mp3 albums so I could burn them. I'm running out of disk space as usual. Then I'm downloading Bambino since yesterday too. I can't wait to burn this, so I could start downloading other anime and dramas again. X_X I need a 1TB hd. Other than that, I managed to remove some stuff from my bed. I also had my li'l table cleaned to put some of my school notes and books on. Once I'm done with cleaning my room, I will start doing the 36 Moon's character pages on Lez's request. :D
Well, I should queue some downloads then go to bed. ^^;

I'm getting tired of hearing that every time they ask what shampoo I use. Filipino readers would already know what I mean. There is news going around that Sunsilk contains formaldehyde (aka formalin). I guess this is more spread through emails, since the ff. sites -- THE BLOG @ dencio.com and The Mommy Journals -- have mentioned getting them through that. I won't quote the email here anymore since you can read it from the sites mentioned. Although parts of the email are in Filipino, so I would have to explain further. It seems some people have 'seen' Sunsilk shampoos having the ingredient formaldehyde. Formaldehyde (aka formalin) is known to be carcinogenic (cancer-causing).
I use Sunsilk for a very long time. I'm already brain dead. I guess I already have brain cancer. O_O WHOA!
Haha~ Of course I'm just kidding. ^_^ If you have read the comments in The Mommy Journals, some have mentioned they had or have direct contact with formalin when they use it on a biology experiment yet this didn't have any effect on them. But I guess it would be different if they've been doing that for n years. What about their professors/teachers then? O_o Not all of them might be doing experiments by themselves, but what about those who do? The probability could be 1:20 professors would work with their students. *shrugs* A dermatologist have mentioned about formalin causing redness, skin rashes, or skin irritation on contact. I forgot if this is based on frequent, prolonged, or instant contact. These effects might be possible on instant contact though especially for those with sensitive skin.
You know, if they add this carcinogenic substance in shampoos or other health-care products, then those wouldn't be approved for public distribution. A minimum dosage would be fine and it's not like you actually use _formalin_ on your head. So you can have an idea of what I'm trying to point out, I would use WATER as an example. ^_^
Do you know how your public water is treated and disinfected? Treatment process depends on the quality of the raw water. Chlorine is commonly used for disinfection because it is strong and will kill many microorganisms. Chlorine may be toxic when too much is used, therefore, a minimum amount is only required. Why would they use chlorine? Because it will be able to kill microorganisms once the water is distributed through the water pipe distribution system. Manganese, flouride, iron, etc. can also be found in water, but there are others hard to remove. They can be left alone once they are under or at least equal to the minimum standards. Of course, the majority of the population do not drink water directly coming from their faucets. Some may have home water purifiers like my family does. At least this will remove any solids that may have come from water pipes. (Read some information about chlorine here.)
Going back to formalin, it is used similarly like chlorine -- to kill off germs that may live in your cosmetics, health, or beauty products. A lot has been saying, "DON'T USE SUNSILK!" I would say then, "DON'T DRINK WATER!" *lol*
You may say you drink mineral water, but it contains a lot of minerals that you have to be wary of. Those minerals will always have to meet the standards. (Read MineralWaters.org or Aquamania.net).
It's not bad to have a little bit of what's dangerous to our body. Don't you even wonder why street children still grow old even if they grow up in a dirty environment? It's only bad they get various kind of diseases. XP You know, it's also bad if you're TOO CLEAN. *lol* It's funny how people react this way when it comes to their health-care products, when there are other things they should worry about. Like their surroundings. The environment. People in the Philippines wouldn't normally look for a trash can. They would just throw it any where that is convenient for them. The streets are the biggest 'trash bins' or 'trash cans' you'll ever see. ^_^ Even when I haven't studied Environmental and Sanitary Engineering, I've been mindful of my trash. Just because there isn't a nearby trash can I'd just throw it away like that. I would really look for a trash can. If it were just plastics from candies, I'd temporarily keep it "properly" in my bag and throw it when I get home. Plastics are the hardest to break down and, when you burn them, you will only contribute to the air pollution. Be conscious of your environment. The environment comes first because this is where your habitat is based. The government will not entirely do the cleaning for you. You can't just go to another planet once the Earth's resources are gone. ^_^ More generations will come and it's the current generation who will have to put action in protecting their environment for the future... The future generation will also do their part for the future, future ones. ^_^V
It's funny how people have been fighting over that formalin issue. When there are other issues like you can easily get lung cancer from air pollution. :P
If you made it this far, then I thank you and congratulate you. ^_^ Boring topics like these aren't supposed to be ignored. Hehe~
Flames would be ignored, btw. If you want to bring down products of Unilever, don't argue with me. There are proper places for that... Like the court. ^_^

^_^ After looking around and deciding whether I should really use this, I thought I'd go ahead. I'm not pretty sure of what to post here, but I guess I can just go random. XD I already have a domain blog. Although it's MT, I wish I could crosspost between this and the domain blog, but I doubt it. Maybe there's a plug-in? Hmm... Any ideas? ^_^
I'll be sending some documents first to my tita and then think of what to post here next.
We were in front of Nacho King waiting for Jhan to get done with her class. I didn't know that li'l snack bar served beer! >_< I didn't want to drink yet because it was still early (it was only 7 PM), but when they decided to leave, there were still 2 half-full bottles. It's such a waste to leave them there, so me and Jhan brought them. Of course we put them in plastic cups. *lol* I don't think it's allowed to drink in the car while driving around Makati.
I wanted to ride it too, if it weren't for this stupid "monthly thing" _and_ the kiddos. >_> But I still prefer dancing than riding that. Hehehe~ I miss dancing a lot!
I think it was Jhan who took this picture. ^_^ It's the first time I posed like that.
Jozen would hate Dusk because of those "laser" lights. Pebbles also gets dizzy whenever she sees them. We got a very good spot here; in the far back, corner of the bar. XD If I was only with _ _, we would *beep* and *beep*. Bwhaahhahahahaha~ J/k!
Hmm... We should have asked the waiter to take a picture of all of us. Tsk, tsk. It's too bad that our other friends didn't make it. Damn fun times! XD
