Fire!

Transformer on flames 03

This happened one night last month. The transformer on an electrical post across the street was suddenly on fire. At first I wasn't aware, but Allie was barking and barking, our neighbors were noisy, and there was even a loud engine (that was actually from a firetruck). I peeked outside and saw what was all the commotion about. I didn't see the flames right away. It was only smoking as the firemen tried to put the fire out. Meralco was already called for, but with all the traffic, they didn't arrive here as quickly as they should have.

After about 2 hours since the incident started, Meralco arrives. I was working on 2 reports that night. Those are reports for irrigation and thesis proposal. ^^; I charged the laptop because it was expected that they'll turn off the electricity in the area. I was able to finish somehow the thesis proposal, but not the irrigation report. ^^; It took Meralco 1 and 1/2 hours to finish their job. XP I was forced to stay up all night to work on the last report. Ugh~ But it was kind of exciting to have witnessed such incident. XD I was texting my friends and classmates about it. A lot of them replied with 'Huh?', 'what's going on? Did you call Meralco?', 'Call for help now', or 'Is it near your house?'. ^^; My classmates worried over the reports I was working on. *lol* They know I'll be stalled once Meralco arrives.
